Your primary duties will include: * Moderating the chat: Reviewing and deleting messages that violate our community guidelines and rules * Enforcing community guidelines: Banning users who repeatedly break the rules, muting users who have violated the rules, and investigating reports made by users about rule violations * Collaborating with the community: Working closely with users to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide support * Staying up-to-date with community developments: Participating in community discussions, staying informed about new features and updates, and adapting to changes in the community Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications: * Age: 18 years or older * Education: High School Diploma or equivalent * Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with users in a respectful and professional manner * Technical skills: Familiarity with Discord and its features, as well as basic computer skills and knowledge of online community management tools * Problem-solving skills: Ability to think critically and resolve conflicts in a fair and impartial manner * Time management: Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively, with a flexible schedule that allows for remote work Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial for this role: * Experience in community management: Previous experience in moderating online communities, forums, or social media groups * Knowledge of community guidelines and policies: Familiarity with creating and enforcing community guidelines, as well as understanding of online safety and security best practices * Language skills: Proficiency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with users from diverse backgrounds * Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as those in community management, customer service, or conflict resolution Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to engage with users in a respectful and professional manner, with excellent written and verbal communication skills * Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills: Ability to think critically and resolve conflicts in a fair and impartial manner * Technical skills: Familiarity with Discord and its features, as well as basic computer skills and knowledge of online community management tools * Time management and organization skills: Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively, with a flexible schedule that allows for remote work * Adaptability and flexibility: Ability to adapt to changes in the community, with a willingness to learn and grow with the team
