Our values and behaviors are the root of our culture, and we're creating a work environment that's designed to support our associates' success. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Care Representative, you'll be responsible for: • Responding to internal and external customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility, and claims. • Analyzing problems and providing information/solutions to resolve member issues. • Operating a PC/image station to obtain and extract information, document activities, and update the database. • Thoroughly documenting inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis. • Developing and maintaining positive customer relations, coordinating with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. • Researching and analyzing data to address operational challenges and customer service issues. • Providing external and internal customers with requested information. • Under immediate supervision, receiving and placing follow-up telephone calls/e-mails to answer customer questions that are routine in nature. • Using computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting. • Conducting outbound calls in the ZipDrug business area. **Minimum Requirements** • High school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in an automated customer service environment. • Any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background. **Preferred Skills, Experiences, and Capabilities** • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and at a slower, deliberate pace. • Ability to handle follow-up situations effectively, demonstrating urgency in resolving member issues. • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and member needs. • Preference for candidates with a background in customer service who show patience and empathy when interacting with members. **Work Environment and Company Culture** As a Customer Care Representative, you'll work in a virtual environment, with the flexibility to work from home and manage your schedule. arenaflex operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, and associates are required to work at an arenaflex location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week.
