In this exciting role as a Customer Sales Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of joint business plans, driving sales growth, and expanding market share for our Snacks portfolio. responsible for: * Leading the joint business planning process and annual strategic plan with assigned customer(s) * Managing supplier relationships on assigned categories * Utilizing the sales planning tool and customer investment system to create optimal customer plans * Developing and implementing trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer * Conducting post-event analysis to evaluate promotional volume, consumption, profit, and spending results versus plan and leveraging findings to maximize future promotional opportunities * Monitoring and managing deduction balances and conducting post-audits * Leveraging digital shelf solutions to drive retail availability and additional product placements in store * Conducting category business reviews, leveraging loyalty and syndicated data, to discuss the state of the business, consumer trends, key business drivers, incremental opportunities, etc. * Leveraging Category Management resources and loyalty data to grow share online * Knowledgeable of arenaflex brand strategies and tactics and implementing, by working closely with the customer's key decision makers, including buyers, category managers, and merchandising leaders * Utilizing sound category management practices to proactively link consumer and shopper trends and opportunities * Leading the customer in the execution of category assessments * Developing and leading accurate monthly forecasts in order to maximize supply chain efficiencies by tracking shipments, consumption data, and inventory changes for the entire team * Proactively identifying potential risks or threats to monthly forecasts * Selling in new items to the customer and working with key customer personnel to achieve optimal distribution * Leveraging Customer Marketing resources and agency to develop and implement collaborative marketing programs online and in-store in alignment with brand and customer strategies and tracking and monitoring progress of new item and initiative development * Identifying profitable opportunities to grow incremental volume * Assessing customer's competitive position, behaviors, and strategies and understanding how they align with company strategic digital goals and determining appropriate investment strategy (use of trade, customer marketing, and integrated marketing equities) that will best support a customer's revenue, profit, and share growth * Developing productive working relationships with key decision-makers within the customer's organizational structure * Managing numerous key customer touch points * Managing trade funding in accordance with company standards * Collaborating with the marketing team on their strategies of digital marketing, brand building, paid media, item reviews & paid SEO across digital channels * Working knowledge of the Syndicated database & technical skill to leverage the data * Strong understanding of and experience with P&L management * Managing day-to-day reporting and forecasting **Who you will work with...** As a Customer Sales Lead, you will require varying degrees of cross-functional interaction within the customer team (e.g., Finance, Category Management, Customer Marketing, Customer Business Managers, etc.) as well as with World Headquarters personnel (e.g., Integrated Marketing, Customer Development, Brand Management, etc.) based upon the size, complexity, and strategic importance of the customer. **What you bring to the table...** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess: * Minimum education: Bachelor's degree * Years of relevant experience: 8+ years' experience in the CPG industry * Ability to negotiate * Knowledge of E-Commerce/Digital Shelf * Ability to penetrate and conduct customer meetings at high levels * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Excellent problem-solving skills * Strong analytical thinking and analysis capability * Ability to pull/use syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen/1010) * Strong interpersonal and influencing skills * Category & Brand knowledge preferred * Knowledge of Supply Chain operations preferred * P&L management experience preferred * Trade management system experience preferred **Compensation and Benefits** The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $109,700-$157,700. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
