We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Associate to join our team at careerzynith in Dearborn Heights, MI. As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the face of careerzynith, providing exceptional customer experiences, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services. - *Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Associate at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
- Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
- Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Recommending items for sale to customers and suggesting trade-up and/or companion items to enhance their shopping experience.
- Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters and shelves, and ensuring that inventory is accurate and up-to-date.
- Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
- Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
- Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise, and completing resets and revisions as directed.
- Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
- Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
- Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures, and maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers.
- *Training & Personal Development**
As a Customer Service Associate at careerzynith, you will have opportunities for training and development, including:
- Attending training sessions and completing PPLs (Personalized Product Learning) requested by your manager or assigned by corporate.

- *Essential Qualifications**
To be successful as a Customer Service Associate at careerzynith, you will need:
- To be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- To be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekend hours.
- To have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- To have six months of experience in a retail environment (preferably with careerzynith).
- To have prior work experience with careerzynith (preferably in a customer-facing role).
- *Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- To be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- To have prior work experience with careerzynith (preferably in a customer-facing role).
- To have a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- To have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- To be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
