As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You'll work closely with our store team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support. - *Key Responsibilities**
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and handles returns, exchanges, and rain checks as needed.
- Recommends items for sale to customers and suggests trade-up and/or companion items to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintains a clean and organized store environment by keeping counters and shelves clean, taking inventory, and checking in and pricing merchandise as required.
- Implements Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss and ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
- Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
- Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, and suggestive sells of promotional photo products.
- Assumes web pick-up responsibilities by monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
- *Essential Qualifications**
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Prior work experience with arenaflex preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
