Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative – Airport Passenger Service Agent for arenaflex, you will be the face of our company, providing outstanding customer service to our passengers. Your role will be to ensure that every interaction with our customers is positive, professional, and memorable. Key Responsibilities Check in passengers and their luggage at the ticket counter and gates, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Patiently handle customer concerns and complaints regarding ticketing and baggage handling, resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Knowledgeably answer inquiries regarding flight schedules, fares, and other questions as they arise, providing accurate and helpful information to our customers. Make announcements at the gate or over the general PA system regarding flight activity, ensuring that our passengers are informed and up-to-date. Be responsible for all flight movement messages between the gate, ground handling team, flight crew, and airport vendors, coordinating effectively to ensure the smooth operation of our flights.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, interacting professionally with passengers, team members, and station leadership. You will also need to have proficient computer skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Be at least 18 years of age and possess a High school diploma, GED or work experience equivalent.
Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (only required for some airports). Be able to pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance, which includes an extensive 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for individuals who are flexible, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a strong regard for safety and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the aviation industry.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently. Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) on a regular basis, stand, lift, bend, push, and pull on a frequent basis and for extended periods. You will also need to be able to work around jet and machinery noises and be flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
