You will work closely with our team to maintain established handling, hold, and make busy times, while adhering to work schedules and driving call efficiency. Your exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability will enable you to navigate complex customer issues and provide resolutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide effective and timely solutions to Utility customer inquiries * Handle customer calls and escalate as necessary * Follow call handling procedures, including transferring to appropriate departmental queues * Maintain established handling, hold, and make busy times, while adhering to work schedules * Drive call efficiency and focus on achieving Average Handling Time and After Call Work targets * Complete ongoing training to stay abreast of products, services, and changes * Work effectively as a team member * Organize and prioritize daily tasks effectively * Follow company safety, emergency, and evacuation plans **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma minimum * At least one (1) year customer service experience in inbound contact center * Previous Military experience encouraged to apply * Ability to pass a background check * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities * Proficient in Microsoft Word and Internet * Typing speed of 30 wpm **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in a Call Center environment * Knowledge of customer service software and systems * Ability to work in a remote environment * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment **Skills and Competencies** * Customer Focus: Establish and maintain effective relationships with every contact, earning trust and respect.
