As a Customer Service Representative - Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Handling requests to plan shipments, including associated documentation and logistics coordination
- Working closely with carriers, airlines, and other transportation providers to ensure seamless shipment execution
- Consolidating and breaking-bulk shipments as required
- Documenting and updating customer records based on interactions and shipment status
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients for active shipments, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient data entry and record-keeping
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and shipment status
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
- *Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable internet connection and an alternate backup in the event of inclement weather or a natural disaster
- Dual monitors preferred, but not essential
- Availability to work 6a-3p PST Monday - Friday
- Previous experience in customer service, call center environment, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Positive and professional demeanor, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
- Typing test will be required to assess your data entry skills and accuracy
