Job Overview and Responsibilities


As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing patients for their appointments, and maintaining a smooth patient flow throughout our clinic. Your duties will include:



  • Preparing patients for their appointments by obtaining photo identification, signature of various consent forms, and associated arenaflex paperwork required for the visit

  • Ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the clinic, coordinating patient schedules for various providers and clinical staff

  • Maintaining and coordinating patient schedules, fielding incoming phone calls and emails through a shared authorization email inbox

  • Assisting and preparing employer paperwork for the clinical staff, covering at other locations as necessary

  • Assisting with tasks as directed by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Key Skills and Competencies


To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and clinical staff. You will also need to demonstrate:



  • Personal responsibility, integrity, and the ability to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in a manner consistent with HIPAA

  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and basic computer skills with Windows, Microsoft Office programs, and other software as needed

Essential Qualifications and Experience


To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications:



  • Complete arenaflex required trainings in a timely manner, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

  • Demonstrate a high school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience in customer service, administration, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications and Experience


While not essential, the following qualifications and experience are preferred:



  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, with knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems
