Key Responsibilities Provide callers with informed and objective responses to complex concerns regarding eligibility guidelines and policies, access to care issues, and escalated concerns. Respond effectively to all forms of inbound and outbound contacts, ensuring timely and professional communication. Process workflow documents, including income, identity, and other eligibility verification documents, with accuracy and attention to detail. Accept new knowledge of policy and procedures concerning state programs and integrate it with resource materials to answer client concerns.
Stay up-to-date with changes in policies, procedures, and regulations, applying this knowledge to provide exceptional customer service. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED, combined with 1+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information to clients. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex concerns and provide effective solutions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process workflow documents and maintain accurate records. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or call center environment. Knowledge of Medicaid, SNAP, and/or TANF programs and policies. Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, limited English proficiency, or other special needs.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in bolthires Office and other software applications.
