About Our Health Plans


arenaflex operates two health plans: one based in Michigan and the other in Indiana. Our Michigan-based health plan is dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of our Michigan members, while our Indiana-based health plan works with the State of Indiana and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to bring health insurance programs to our members. Position Summary


We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to handle daily member telephone calls, providing support and guidance to our Medicare population. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for directing members to the proper services, educating them on available options, and problem-solving to resolve issues. You will also create linkages to our Medical Management Department for authorization of services and assist providers with eligibility, benefit, and resolution of claims issues.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Handle daily member telephone calls, providing exceptional customer service and support

  • Direct members to the proper services, educating them on available options and benefits

  • Problem-solve to resolve issues and create linkages to our Medical Management Department for authorization of services

  • Assist providers with eligibility, benefit, and resolution of claims issues

  • Work collaboratively with our Medical Management Department to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification

  • One (1) year experience in a customer service related role with direct contact with customers via telephone, email, chat and/or face-to-face

Preferred Qualifications:



  • One (1) year experience in a physician health care office environment or high-volume call center

  • One (1) year experience and knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO and Managed Care functions

  • Healthcare or Medicare customer service experience

Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with healthcare or Medicare customer service

  • Knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO and Managed Care functions

  • Experience working in a high-volume call center or physician health care office environment

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits


arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
