Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Customer Service Representative I. This position is based in California, with the option to work remotely, and requires residing within a commutable distance to our main office. As a Customer Service Representative I, you will play a vital role in delivering the highest level of quality service to our customers, ensuring their concerns are resolved promptly, respectfully, and courteously. Key Responsibilities: Successfully complete training to become knowledgeable about the waste services industry and arenaflex's processes, services, and policies.
Respond in a timely and accurate manner to routine customer service calls, ensuring that residential customer issues and concerns are treated with respect and professionalism. Effectively respond to routine issues regarding general commercial service changes and contract compliance matters, which may involve outbound calls and other communications to resolve simple issues, including service level changes, contractual obligations, billing questions, service cancellations, price increases, and equipment issues.
Return all internal and external calls, emails, and facsimiles in a timely manner to ensure that customers' concerns are understood, addressed, and resolved efficiently and completely. Receive and review individual performance metric reports and action plan with your manager to understand your performance and areas for improvement. Enter service and route data into the computer for billing and route scheduling purposes. Log information about customer service interactions into systems and update them in a timely and accurate manner, enabling associates to track service inquiries and resolution.
Perform other job-related duties as required to support the team and ensure exceptional customer service. Essential
Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have a High School diploma or GED. While experience in customer service is beneficial, it's not required, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this position. Preferred
Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the environmental services or waste management industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in bolthires Office and the ability to learn new software applications.
