As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Medical Receptionist, you'll be responsible for receiving and responding to incoming inquiries and service requests from patients, employees, providers, vendors, and others. You'll work collaboratively with our service delivery teams to provide accurate and timely information, establish strong relationships with customers, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will make you a valuable asset to our team.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Receive and respond to incoming inquiries and service requests via phone, email, web portal, and other channels
  • Provide accurate and timely information to patients, employees, providers, vendors, and others
  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to identify additional ways to be of service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with service delivery teams to support one or more service delivery teams
  • Foster an environment that encourages continuous improvement in business processes and services
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure the privacy and safety of employee and patient information
  • Operate office equipment such as multi-lined phones, printers, faxes, copiers, and scanners
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • 1 year of experience in customer service, medical reception, or a related field
  • 1 year of experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Office, electronic mail, and information systems or database programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences
  • Time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Medical and healthcare experience
  • 1 year of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, call center, or related customer service experience
  • Knowledge of processes within one or more of the following functions: Human Resources, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, Revenue Cycle Customer Billing
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
