Role: Customer Service Representative We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service support to our Review Team. As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for interacting with beneficiaries and providers via our helpline, creating, formatting, and proofreading letters, and maintaining timeliness.
This position requires a great deal of decision-making in regard to complex appeals and a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to beneficiaries and providers via phone, email, and mail Create, format, and proofread letters and other correspondence Maintain accurate and timely records and reports Foster effective working relationships between internal and external customers Assist with and participate in identifying areas for potential improvement Answer the Beneficiary Helpline and determine the best course of action to assist callers Utilize internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes What We Offer: At arenaflex, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Full benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.) effective the first month following your hire date Paid time off for great work-life balance 401k with match and no vesting period Opportunities for career growth and advancement A dynamic and supportive work environment Flexible scheduling and remote work options Qualifications and Skills: To be successful in this role, you will need: High school diploma or equivalent Post-high school business courses helpful Medical terminology desired Excellent verbal communication skills, courteous and patient demeanor, and the ability to maintain composure under potentially stressful situations Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communications skills Customer-focused, results-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers General knowledge of a PC-based computer system desirable, with the ability to learn additional software packages as needed Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and work independently
Experience: We are looking for candidates with: Two to three years of clerical experience, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology recommended Previous data entry or other clerical experience is a plus
