Perks of this Role As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including: * A fully remote position, allowing you to work from home and enjoy a better work-life balance * Full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and more, effective the first month following your hire date * Paid time off for relaxation and rejuvenation * 401k with match, with no vesting period * Opportunities to advance your career and build upon your experience * A dynamic and supportive work environment that's passionate about making a difference Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service support to our Review Team, including interacting with beneficiaries and providers via the helpline * Creating, formatting, and proofreading letters, as well as maintaining timeliness * Making decisions regarding complex appeals and providing referrals to external agencies as needed * Utilizing internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes * Maintaining effective working relationships between arenaflex's internal and external customers * Participating in Review Team discussions to identify areas for potential improvement Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * Post-high school business courses, medical terminology, or prior work in a healthcare setting * Excellent verbal communication skills, a courteous and patient demeanor, and a customer-oriented approach * Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communications skills * Customer-focused, results-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers * General knowledge of a PC-based computer system, with the ability to learn additional software packages as needed * Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work independently Experience We're looking for candidates with 2-3 years of clerical experience, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities.

Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology is highly recommended, as is previous data entry or other clerical experience.
