Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative, you'll provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy.

You'll be responsible for the overall coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders, which includes verifying and revivifying benefits. You'll also help our patients with translating and entering in new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts, obtaining authorizations, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and/or internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues.

Responsibilities * Provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy * Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system * Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients * Obtain authorizations from insurance companies and healthcare providers * Work with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues * Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and internal partners * Meet productivity and quality standards, including resolving customer issues in a timely and effective manner Requirements * One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, bolthires Office, internet navigation, and email applications * One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude * Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information Preferred Qualifications * Pre-employment healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology * Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting * Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures * Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with internal partners Work Schedule and Location * Work from home in Florida * Available work schedules: 11:30am - 8pm EST and 12:30pm - 9pm EST * Must reside in Florida and within 75 miles of the Specialty location in Orlando, FL
