Job Overview As a Customer Service Specialist I at arenaflex, you will be responsible for initiating monthly service calls to low-volume accounts, updating existing customers on new programs, promotional activities, products, and services, and addressing any current issues or unresolved problems. You will work closely with field sales associates, warehouse associates, and other departments to ensure seamless order processing and resolve customer complaints promptly. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to provide accurate answers to customer inquiries and escalate issues to the Customer Service Supervisor when necessary.
Key Responsibilities: Initiate monthly service calls to low-volume accounts and update customers on new programs, products, and services Assist customers with issues such as missed shipments, price adjustments, and backorders, striving for prompt resolution Collaborate with field sales associates to coordinate special orders, accept quotations, and facilitate manufacturer calls Process phone, fax, mail, email, and verbal orders from customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Provide customers with accurate answers to questions and complaints, escalating issues to the Customer Service Supervisor when necessary Perform data entry tasks, such as processing orders, accessing previous orders, and researching customer inquiries Communicate with all departments within the Distribution Center and field sales associates to ensure smooth order processing Serve as a liaison between customers and field sales associates, making suggestions and recommendations to improve customer service operations Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in customer service, with broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, or computer sciences.
A four-year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education is required. You should have less than one year of directly related experience, but a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Essential Skills and Competencies: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and creatively Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Good decision-making and analytical skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic knowledge of bolthires Word and Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of customer interactions Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Preferred
Qualifications: Bilingual (Spanish) skills are highly preferred, but not required Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution operations and familiarity with ABC products and services
