If you're a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you! **Job Summary:** As a Customer Service Specialist - Student Ambassador for Conference & Event Services, you'll be the face of arenaflex, providing warm welcomes, and ensuring our guests feel at home. You'll work closely with our Conference Services Management team to deliver exceptional customer service, manage guest check-ins and check-outs, and provide support with conference arrangements and logistics. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner * Welcome guests, check them in and out of their residence hall rooms, and provide information about conference arrangements, Miami University, and Oxford, Ohio * Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring that security and safety measures are in place when distributing and collecting guest room keys * Communicate information to guests and other staff members, using clear and concise language to ensure seamless communication * Maintain accurate records of guest information, using our housing roster and key reports to track guest movements and ensure smooth operations * Collaborate with the Conference Service Staff and Residence Hall Housekeeping Staff to ensure that all guest needs are met and that our facilities are clean and well-maintained * Be proactive in identifying and resolving guest issues, using your problem-solving skills to find creative solutions * Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities to deliver exceptional customer service **Essential Qualifications:** * Previous customer service or conference experience is preferred, but not required * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of guests and staff * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities to deliver exceptional customer service * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and find solutions to guest issues * Ability to maintain accurate records and use our housing roster and key reports to track guest movements * Strong attention to Service Staff and Residence Hall Housekeeping Staff to deliver exceptional customer service **Preferred Qualifications:** * Previous experience working in a hotel or conference setting * Knowledge of Miami University and Oxford, Ohio, with the ability to provide information to guests about local attractions and amenities * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet
