Overview of the Role As an independent contractor participating in arenaflex's Intuit TurboTax program, you will provide customer support via phone, chat, and/or video chat. Your interactions with customers will focus on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments. You will provide an empathetic approach to customer interactions, leveraging critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities and escalating while necessary.
Schedule and
Compensation * Seasonal contract:
This contract runs through April 15th, 2024. * Flexible schedule opportunities: You create your own schedule! * Schedule available hours: Between 7 am and 11 pm CST, Monday - Sunday. * Weekday and weekend options: You can choose to work on weekdays or weekends, depending on your preferences. * Compensation: Earn up to $19 per hour. Contractors on this program who meet or exceed key metrics earn on average the equivalent of $16-$19/hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50/hour during non-peak times.
Peak rates apply January - April. Required Skills * Sincere desire to assist the customer: You must have a genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. * Tech savvy and avid computer user: You should be comfortable using technology and have a strong understanding of computer systems and software. * Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple systems: You will need to be able to handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously and navigate multiple systems to resolve customer queries.
* Communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor: You must be able to communicate effectively with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Technology & Equipment Requirements * Personal computer: You will need a personal computer (no tablet) to work from home. * Broadband internet connection: You will need a broadband internet connection, recommended at least 10 MBPS. * Wired internet connection: You will need a wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet). * Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system: You will need to have a valid Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system installed on your computer.
* Valid antivirus software: You will need to have valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date. * USB headset with microphone: You will need a USB headset with microphone to communicate with customers. * Webcam: A webcam will be loaned to each contractor to be used for the duration of the contract. Work Environment Requirements * Quiet, uninterrupted space: You will need a quiet, uninterrupted space to work from home. * Organized desk area: You will need to have an organized desk area to work from.
* Professional appearance: If you will be on camera, you will need to maintain a professional appearance. * Contractual relationship:
The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractual relationship.
