Key Responsibilities Identify data sources, requiring knowledge of business domains and situations, data categories, and database technologies, as well as data quality and business information requirements.
Analyze business issues within your discipline, question assumptions, and identify underlying causes; recommend approaches to resolving business issues and set meaningful standards based on established progress rules and key metrics. Evaluate proposed business cases for projects and initiatives, translate business requirements into solutions, and align the team with the business strategy while implementing expectations. Identify and recommend the most suitable representation tools based on context and define application design based on user needs; includes building compelling stories based on context, presenting to and influencing various audiences using appropriate data visualization, and adapting communication style based on stakeholders.
Provide overall direction by analyzing business objectives and client needs; includes developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; investigating costs and estimates and integrating into best practices; and determining and supporting resource requirements. Develop and leverage internal and external partnerships and collaborations, lead key community outreach and engagement initiatives, and support stakeholders while respecting and adhering to the organization's principles of integrity and ethics.
Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data tools (e.g., Hive) Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker) and scheduling/workflow tools (e.g., Airflow) Ability to communicate details of a metric to executives clearly Ability to connect details of data and their impact on the business Experience developing new metrics to track business impact Experience leading a team of analysts Willingness to build dashboards and reports that aggregate data from multiple sources Preferred Qualifications If you have the following qualifications, you will be highly competitive for this role: Background and/or education in statistics Experience with AI and data science techniques Skills and Competencies To excel in this position, you will need to possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
