Job Responsibilities
As a Data Center Operations Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting hardware and server software
- Configuring and troubleshooting Linux OS-associated issues on servers
- Deploying and maintaining Google's advanced data center server and network infrastructure
- Participating in or leading troubleshooting and resolving critical or escalated technical issues
- Testing and troubleshooting new server hardware components and designs
- Collaborating and partnering with people and teams to overcome problems
- Contributing and leading efforts/tasks in the deployment, maintenance, and support of modern and new data center infrastructure
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience troubleshooting hardware or community-associated troubles using Linux-based tools
- Experience in hardware, networking equipment, operating systems, and data center operations
- A high school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
