As a Data Center Technician at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, working with a talented team of engineers and technicians to deliver exceptional results. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to join our Hardware Operations team at arenaflex. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our advanced Data Center Server and Network Infrastructure, participating in or leading local project teams on large installations, and developing project contingency plans.

Key Responsibilities Contribute to and lead efforts/tasks in the deployment, maintenance, and support of modern and new data center infrastructure Participate in or lead complex troubleshooting and resolve critical or escalated technical issues Test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs Configure and troubleshoot Linux OS-related problems on servers Deploy and maintain arenaflex's advanced Data Center Server and Network Infrastructure Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and resolve technical issues Develop and implement project contingency plans to ensure seamless operation of our data centers Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware/community problems and the use of Linux tools Experience working in a data center or network operation center environment Knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnosing computer, server, and network hardware issues Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with mild coding or scripting, such as Python, Perl, or Bash Experience in project control and leadership, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience with networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP Ability to collaborate and associate with groups to overcome problems and achieve common goals Familiarity with data center infrastructure, including server and network hardware, and data center operations Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure high-quality results in a rapidly changing environment
