Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Entry and Business Intelligence Leader to work remotely from the USA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of data analysts, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key partners across Digital Technology and Product groups, and driving process improvements through data analysis and insights. Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 3-4 data analysts, providing technical guidance and expertise to the team
- Conduct in-depth analysis of new platform updates and application releases, exploring framework performance, errors, response time, and service logs
- Develop comprehensive data analysis workstreams, creating streamlined and actionable insights for stakeholders
- Build trusted data products, including dashboards and reporting items, to support Digital Technology and Client Travel Experience leadership in making data-driven decisions
- Communicate updates to senior management, assembling regular presentations and reports
- Manage the deployment and maintenance of Power BI workspaces and SQL scripts, converting log data into meaningful insights
- Ensure seamless integration of BI solutions with existing systems and data sources
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, tools, and best practices in BI and data analysis
- Lead reviews of models, implementation strategies, and code with the team, utilizing collective insight and expertise
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, analysis, and data engineering, with 3+ years in a Fortune 500 organization
- 1+ year of leadership experience
- Experience building presentations for partners and leaders at a MD and VP level, and interfacing with all levels of management
- Advanced BI dashboarding experience (e.g., PowerBI, Tibco Spotfire) to produce significant, rich dashboards
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to study/understand business needs, design data/technology metrics that connect business processes with quantifiable platform results
- High-level SQL skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, using data to address issues
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship
- Reliable, consistent attendance is a fundamental requirement of the position
Preferred Qualifications
To stand out from the crowd, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Information Systems, Aviation Management, or a related degree, MBA
- Google Data Analysis Professional Certification, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analysis, Enterprise Data Warehouse certifications, Palantir
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- Experience with DataDog/AppD/Kibana is a significant upside
- Experience with Enterprise monitoring systems is a plus
- Experience with Palantir Foundry, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- Past airline or travel industry experience is a plus
- Experience with AWS - Redshift, Quicksight, Athena
- Experience with BigQuery
