Job Overview As a Data Entry and Payroll Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in maintaining and updating our database with precision and attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include entering, verifying, and updating data accurately and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure data integrity and completeness while adhering to established guidelines and protocols. This is a remote job opportunity, and you will be working on a day shift. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work remotely with other team members.
Key Responsibilities Enter, verify, and update data accurately and efficiently in our database Collaborate with other team members to ensure data integrity and completeness Adhere to established guidelines and protocols for data entry and payroll processing Process payroll for assigned countries using a third-party payroll company Prepare, post payroll changes, new hires, and leavers for every entity to the payroll providers in a timely manner Validate payroll input against payroll check and coordinate with payroll providers for required changes/corrections Coordinate with payroll providers on timely payout to employees and statutory payments Perform tasks associated with monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reporting and taxation Act as a point of contact for employees on payroll questions via the Zendesk ticketing system Record, track, and analyze monthly payroll costs and raise purchase orders Report and track payroll providers' settlement renewal dates Work with team members in the Philippines and Singapore, following global system alignment Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in payroll and accounting processing in a BPO or shared services environment Experience working with APAC payroll, with a focus on Korea, Australia, and India Excellent knowledge of payroll and related statutory labor laws required for payroll-related calculations Above-average proficiency in bolthires Docs, Sheets, Gmail, bolthires Excel, and Word, as well as Workday Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience working in a remote team environment Knowledge of other languages, in addition to English Experience with other payroll software or systems Certification in payroll or accounting, such as CPP or CPA Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and payroll processing Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team Proficiency in bolthires Office and bolthires Suite Knowledge of payroll and accounting principles and practices
