As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for entering patient demographic and insurance billing information from documents into our Information System in accordance with departmental procedures, standards, and operational needs. If you're a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in clerical and data entry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** * Enter patient demographic and insurance billing information from documents into our Information System in accordance with departmental procedures, standards, and operational needs * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information * Verify and validate data for accuracy and completeness * Identify and resolve data discrepancies and errors * Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless data entry and processing * Meet productivity and quality standards for data entry and processing * Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and arenaflex's systems and processes **Essential Qualifications** * 6 months of clerical and/or data entry experience * 9,000 keystrokes per hour alphanumeric keying with high accuracy * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word * Familiarity with healthcare administration and medical terminology a plus **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a healthcare administration environment * Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software * Certification in medical coding or billing a plus * Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word * Familiarity with healthcare administration and medical terminology **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
