- *Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Operator II, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing, interpreting, editing, and verifying patient demographics and test information to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Logging onto the computer and entering all relevant requisition data in an efficient and accurate manner
- Utilizing all inquiry functions on the Computerized Tomography (CRT) system to retrieve and update patient information
- Reviewing data entered into the system to ensure its accuracy and completeness
- Microfilming requisitions to provide documentation retrieval for error audits
- Filing requisitions according to department specifications
- Maintaining a neat and orderly workstation and area immediately surrounding the work station
- Consistently keying a minimum of 500 requisitions per shift
- Staying up-to-date on all new procedure changes and clients with special keying requirements
- *Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1-3 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- 1 year prior CRT experience is required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain composure while managing multiple tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal or written instructions
- Concentration on task/details
- Examine and observe details
- *Physical and Mental Requirements**
As a Data Entry Operator II, you will be required to:
- Lift light to moderately heavy objects (1-15 pounds)
- Sit or stand for long periods of time, requiring long hours of eye and hand coordination
- Perform repetitive tasks with dominant hand frequently to constantly throughout the day
- Extensive use of phone and PC
- Typing/Data entry
