The Role As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for performing data entry tasks related to dental insurance claims processing. You'll work closely with our team to ensure accurate and timely entry of data into our systems, while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive patient information. This is a remote contract position open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States, with a preference for those in the Pacific or Mountain time zones. The contract is for 6-8 months, with a possibility of extension.
Responsibilities * Perform data entry tasks related to dental insurance claims processing * Download and upload images from a client portal to the arenaflex portal * Ensure accurate and timely entry of data into our systems * Adhere to HIPAA policies and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive patient information * Work core US business hours, preferably in PT or MT time zones * Work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week Qualifications * Prior experience in data entry is required * Familiarity with dental insurance claims or healthcare data entry is a plus * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry * Reliable internet connection * Ability to comply with HIPAA policies and maintain data security * Ability to work core US business hours, preferably in PT or MT time zones * Ability to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week Essential Skills and Competencies * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information * Familiarity with dental insurance claims or healthcare data entry is a plus * Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with dental insurance claims or healthcare data entry * Familiarity with HIPAA policies and data security best practices * Experience working in a remote or contract position * Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities Training and Support * Training will be provided to ensure proficiency in our systems and compliance with HIPAA policies * Ongoing support and guidance will be available to ensure your success in the role
