As a Data Associate, you will play a critical role in helping us improve the performance of Alexa, our artificial intelligence platform. Your primary responsibility will be to work with a range of text, speech, and other types of data to deliver high-quality annotated data that meets our KPIs. Key Responsibilities Work with a variety of text, speech, and other types of data to deliver high-quality annotated data that meets our KPIs Utilize in-house tools and software to annotate data, and report any issues with these tools as they arise Demonstrate ownership and drive while providing feedback on improvements to existing tooling that can increase the volume and quality of the data we process Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all relevant arenaflex policies for handling sensitive data Collaborate with a diverse team to achieve common goals and objectives Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent Proficiency in bolthires Office products and applications Fluent in Italian and English, with the ability to speak, write, and read smoothly in both languages Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, or holidays High school diploma or equivalent Willingness to work with speech from different dialects and accents of Italian Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Consistent efforts to deliver high-quality data, including self-review and feedback Experience working with speech or language data, including experience with annotation Practical knowledge of data processing requirements and compromise Ability to work independently and as part of a team Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful insights
