Job Description and
Key Responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a ground-up remake of our logical capabilities, from data entry to complex business transformations and end-user reporting. As a data scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: Collaborating with specialists, software engineers, and business leaders to define business processes and provide scientific support Using code to investigate complex datasets and design, develop, and evaluate data transformations to solve specific business problems Building flexible, efficient, and automated data cycles to facilitate client-facing reporting Automating TA cycles to streamline business operations Communicating verbally or in writing to business clients/initiatives to share insights and recommendations You will be a key player in driving our business growth and transformation, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about data science and has a strong track record of delivering results.
Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/numerical programming (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques, and parameters that influence their performance Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment You should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
