As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for developing and implementing AI and machine learning models that can predict and analyze data on equipment and software systems, preventing outages and pinpointing errors. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, code, test, and deploy new systems and solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement AI and machine learning models using technologies such as deep learning, statistical modeling, and data mining Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, code, test, and deploy new systems and solutions Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support AI and machine learning applications Provide technical support and expertise to the wider team Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and data science, and apply this knowledge to improve our solutions and services Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field At least 2 years of experience working with AI and machine learning technologies, including experience with data-driven statistical modeling, discriminative techniques, feature extraction and analysis, and supervised learning At least 2 years of experience working with a programming language such as Python, R, SQL, or similar At least 2 years of experience working with data extraction, wrangling, visualization, and analysis Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills A strong work ethic and a passion for delivering high-quality results Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working with large datasets and big data platforms such as GCP, AWS, or similar Experience developing and deploying scalable AI and machine learning models Experience investigating and implementing statistical models, AI algorithms, or other customized solutions that have a significant impact on complex business problems Experience optimizing existing data pipelines by investigating unstructured data sources and designing new features A graduate degree or higher in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field Knowledge of AI, data mining, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field
