- *Job Summary:**
As a Non-Clinical Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling daily member telephone calls, providing education, problem-solving, and creating linkages to the Medical Management Department for authorization of services. You will also assist providers with eligibility, benefit, and resolution of claims issues. This is a remote work-from-home position with onsite/virtual training, offering a flexible and dynamic work environment.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Meet the Department standard of calls answered, and call documentation entered
- Assist Members and Providers with questions and concerns, including: + Finding Provider(s)/Services for members+ Arranging Transportation for members+ Answering billing/claims status questions; resolving claim issues for members+ Assisting with pharmacy issues+ Helping Members access community support services+ Verifying member eligibility+ Quoting benefits+ Assisting with Referrals+ Assisting with member health assessments+ Assisting members with closing gaps in care
- Provide ongoing member education
- Responsible for all benefits information given to Members and Providers
- Participate in Departmental Projects, as appropriate
- Coordinate quality improvement initiatives with Medical Management, Provider Relations, and Quality Depts., i.e., Preventative Health Screenings
- Perform other duties as assigned or when necessary to maintain efficient operations of the department and the Company as a whole
- *Requirements:**
- 1 year of experience in a call center environment
- High School Diploma (proof not required)
- Spanish speaking required (please note in your profile)
- Bilingual applicants preferred (eligible for pay rate increase)
- Must reside in Indiana
- 52% markup need; contractors must make a facility-mandated $18.00 per hour

- 1+ year of experience in a customer service role
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Experience working in a healthcare or insurance environment
