As a strategic technical partner to some of the most forward-thinking companies and teams operating in the data space, you'll be responsible for driving value with arenaflex, architecting partnerships and strategies, and delivering custom solutions to our customers. **About arenaflex** arenaflex is the world's first active metadata platform, helping organizations transform data chaos into clarity and seamless collaboration. Therefore, we are scaling our Customer Solutions Architecture group to better integrate arenaflex into the customer landscape. arenaflex is built upon an Open API and the platform is designed for programmatic extension. The Customer Solutions Architecture Team is at the forefront of driving innovation for our customers using this framework. As part of the Customer Solutions Architecture team, you'll be part of a highly motivated and driven Customer Experience group working with amazing data teams at customers. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Drive value with arenaflex**: The CSA team works closely with the arenaflex Customer Success Manager as well as Customer teams of Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Data Platform owners to onboard customers onto arenaflex, drive arenaflex adoption through Value Streams, and use the power of Active Metadata to automate and innovate. * **Architecture Partnership & Strategy**: For customers with large and/or complex data estates, implementing arenaflex effectively requires a holistic approach and plan. The CSA serves as a trusted advisor by understanding the customer's business, analyzing the existing estate & integration needs, and leading strategic workshops to design optimal arenaflex architectures for their core use cases. * **Custom Solution Discovery & Design**: As new needs arise for the customer which cannot be solved by arenaflex's native capabilities, the CSA will work with the customer champion, technical leads, and other key stakeholders to understand the critical aspects and business impact of the problem. The CSA will then scope out and provide recommendations for how arenaflex can be part of the solution. * **Technical Enablement**: For customers that have the in-house capability to develop solutions that integrate with third-party APIs/SDKs, the arenaflex CSA serves as an advisor and accelerator to the customer technical team by conducting live API enablement sessions, creating/providing relevant sample scripts, and running live working sessions with customer engineers. * **Custom Solution Implementation**: For customers that need more involved support in solution implementation, the arenaflex CSA will create POCs or even full-blown solutions that will get rolled out into production for customers, extending the capabilities of the native arenaflex platform. * **Innovation**: The CSA drives significant customer value by using Active Metadata to power automation and Innovation in the form of use cases such as auto PII detection, active metadata management, dynamic data pipeline management, metadata-powered AI, and more. * **Facilitation with Product & Engineering**: The CSA team is also the bridge between the Customer Experience group and Product and Engineering, working closely to ensure customer feedback is communicated to Product, and guiding the future growth of arenaflex. * **Build Expertise**: As part of the CSA team, you will build expertise in tools across the Modern Data Stack and be the trusted advisor to help and guide Customer stakeholders. * **Thought Leadership**: As part of the CSA team, you will also partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to build thought leadership and expertise in the Active Metadata category. **What Makes You a Fit?** * You have 5+ years experience as a Data Engineer + customer-facing technologist (e.g., Solutions Architect, Consulting, Field Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer). * You love digging deep into a problem statement, not just so you can design a solution, but so that you uncover the true business drivers and know you are designing the right solution to bring the most value to the customer. * You have the unique ability to quickly assess the technical and business acumen of a customer stakeholder, speak appropriately to their level of expertise, and translate between a variety of personas in the room. * You are highly effective at solving complex problems, and trailblazing through uncharted territory, going both deep and wide technically. * Extensive experience across the different types of tooling in the data estate including OLAP/OLTP databases, data warehouses, ETL, BI, etc. * You are proficient in SQL and have a good understanding of Enterprise Data Warehousing and Data lake architecture, with previous experience in Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar. * Experience in Python scripting, and a desire to deepen your knowledge in current technologies as well as learn new ones. * Knowledge of Cloud architecture fundamentals - Highly available fault-tolerant systems, IAM policies, security groups, networking (VPC peering and privatelink). * Experience/Knowledge of Data flow architecture/orchestration/transformation tools. * Familiar with consuming REST APIs for general automation, data transfer, and high-level system design. * Expertise in managing customer challenges to resolution. **Why arenaflex for You?** At arenaflex, we believe the future belongs to the humans of data.
