Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you'll lead the Adversarial Abuse team responsible for identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, engagement manipulation, and more.
You'll also oversee the Business Investigation team, responsible for producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries worldwide. You'll work closely with the Strategy Development team to create approaches using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior. Key Responsibilities * Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, engagement manipulation, and more * Oversee the Business Investigation team in producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries worldwide * Collaborate with the Strategy Development team to create approaches using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior * Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate emerging threats and stay ahead of adversaries * Work closely with cross-functional partners to drive business outcomes and inform product development * Manage accelerations with quick turnaround times to circle back, provide data-driven insights, and execute solutions * Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) * 4+ years of experience in a related field, including 2+ years of experience in risk management, abuse fighting at scale, and building/conveying data experiences * 2+ years of experience working with design teams that build data foundation and ML models * 2+ years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard weeks as accelerations require * Strong understanding of data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling * Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners Preferred Qualifications * Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) * 2+ years of experience in investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection * Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities * Strong understanding of SQL, R, and Matlab * Exceptional influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners Skills and Competencies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive insights and inform decision-making * Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners * Strong understanding of data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners
