Senior Director, Global Head, Antagonistic Abuse/Analytics, you'll be responsible for leading the Antagonistic Abuse team in identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, commitment abuse, and more.
You'll also oversee the Business Investigation team, responsible for producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries worldwide. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of industry trends, and the ability to drive strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities * Lead the Antagonistic Abuse team in identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, commitment abuse, and more * Oversee the Business Investigation team, responsible for producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries worldwide * Understand, anticipate, and insightfully moderate risks from new, scaling industry patterns (e.g., generative AI) * Collaborate with the Strategy
Advancement team to develop approaches using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior * Convey powerful and productive functional execution (e.g., quality, service levels) in a global team working 24×7 * Engage, retain, develop, and foster brilliant talent * Manage accelerations with quick time requirements to circle back, provide data-driven insights, and implement solutions while creating associations with key cross-functional partners to help launch new products and strategies that effectively prevent malicious abuse Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) * Four years of experience or equivalent common sense experience * Two years of experience working with risk management, abuse fighting at scale, and building/conveying analytical experiences * Two years of experience working with design teams that form data foundation and ML models * Two years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard workweeks as accelerations require Preferred Qualifications * Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., research, design, data science) * Two years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly discovery * Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities * Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab * Exceptional influencing and leader relational skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners * Magnificent business judgment, critical and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action with the ability to work in a rapidly changing industry and manage ambiguity while limiting uncertainty through quantitative insights Skills and Competencies * Strong leadership and management skills * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to drive strategic decision-making * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL/R/Matlab
