Job Summary As a part-time remote data analyst at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and developing predictive models to drive business growth.
You'll work closely with our data scientists, business stakeholders, and technical partners to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business value. Key Responsibilities * Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions * Develop and deploy predictive models using machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, and data visualization tools * Collaborate with data scientists, business stakeholders, and technical partners to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions * Lead exploratory research, including hypothesis testing, data induction, and statistical analysis (predictive and prescriptive) * Work with business and technical partners to translate retail business issues into advanced data science solutions * Create processes and tools to monitor, analyze, and continuously improve model performance and data accuracy * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field * 2+ years of experience as a full-stack data analyst, data scientist, or related role * Proven track record of developing, improving, and scaling models for production environments * Strong understanding of data science concepts, including machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, and data visualization tools * Experience with programming languages, including Python, R, SQL, and NoSQL databases * Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field * Experience with advanced data science techniques, including deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision * Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or bolthires Cloud * Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data governance * Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and ethics Skills and Competencies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders * Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability * Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy * Ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and requirements * Strong understanding of data science concepts, including machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, and data visualization tools
