This job is a part of the Data Engineering and Analytics team within our Innovation group.
You'll bring your data engineering, collaboration, and analytics skills to help develop an data-driven culture by designing and delivering analytics solutions and making data analysis simpler and more effective for arenaflex. * Work closely with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and maintain analytics solutions that provide insights to drive better decision-making * Execute data movement and data engineering solutions using arenaflex products and services: (arenaflex Data Lake Storage, arenaflex Data Factory, arenaflex Capabilities, Event Center, arenaflex Stream Analytics, arenaflex Databricks, etc.) and traditional data warehouse tools * Perform various aspects associated with the development lifecycle – design, cloud engineering (infrastructure, organization, security, and networking), ingestion, deployment, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, solutions, usage, BI, alerting, and support * Provide technical leadership and collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently * Be part of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports their product * Execute batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies * Drive improvement of coding standards, best practices, and security and compliance rules * Coach others on technical and domain skills to create multi-functional teams All you'll need for successEssential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience * 3 years of experience in software development, DevOps, working in an application model that includes design, development, and deployment of large-scale applications or data engineering solutions * 3 years of experience in data analytics using SQL * 2 years of experience in cloud development and data lake (preferably bolthires arenaflex) including arenaflex EventHub, arenaflex Data Factory, arenaflex Databricks, arenaflex DevOps, arenaflex Data Lake, arenaflex Power Apps, and Power BI Blend of Development, Operations, and Support experience in several of the following tools/platforms required: * Pre-production: Python, Java, Unix, SQL * Data Platforms: Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Prophet, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake * arenaflex Data Explorer.
Operations skills an or more * arenaflex Cloud Innovations: arenaflex Data Factory, arenaflex Databricks, arenaflex Data Lake, arenaflex Power Apps, and arenaflex Capabilities * bolthires/CD: GitHub, Jenkins, arenaflex DevOps, Terraform * BI Analytics Tool Stack – Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Denodo, and Grafana * Data Warehousing: DataStage, Informatica * Data Management and Security: Informatica Axon and EDC, BigID Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience * 5+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, working in an application model that includes design, development, and deployment of large-scale applications or data engineering solutions * 5+ years of experience in data analytics using SQL * 3+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably in arenaflex * 3+ years of cloud development and data lake experience (preferably bolthires arenaflex) including arenaflex EventHub, arenaflex Data Factory, arenaflex Capabilities, ADX, ASA, arenaflex Databricks, arenaflex DevOps, arenaflex Data Lake, arenaflex Power Apps, and Power BI * Aircraft Industry Experience * Skills, Licenses, and Certifications * Skill with the arenaflex Innovation stack for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing, curation, and making utilization layers * Skill in providing useful leadership within the arenaflex Local cloud services * arenaflex Development Track Certification (desired) * Java Certification (desired) What you'll get Come and take advantage of everything arenaflex has to offer: * Travel
