Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Designing group (inside DDSI) at arenaflex. As a
Senior Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and managing cloud-based data pipelines, data set mapping, and data processing using Wind current for various projects. You'll collaborate with our Studios and Project Innovation colleagues to drive data-driven decision-making, ensuring seamless data flow across multiple environments, including DEV, QA/UAT, and Production.
Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and manage ETL/ELT data pipelines using Wind current for various projects * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, design data models, and implement data pipelines * Develop and maintain data set mapping, tables, and perspectives using Wind current * Build and manage data processing workflows using Wind current, Snowflake, and other cloud-based technologies * Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across multiple environments * Participate in driving best practices around data designing software development processes * Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop data-driven solutions and insights * Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud computing Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field * 2+ years of experience with SQL, including data modeling, querying, and optimization * 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and managing ETL/ELT data pipelines * 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and S3 * 3+ years of experience in a data engineering or related role * Strong understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, and application data sets * Experience with Apache Wind current, Databricks, and other cloud-based data processing technologies * Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other languages * Experience with Gitlab, Docker, and other DevOps tools Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field * Experience in streaming, media, or digital marketing industries * Strong understanding of data visualization tools, such as Looker and Tableau * Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams Skills and Competencies * Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data processing, and data storage * Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, and bolthires Cloud * Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other languages * Experience with data visualization tools, including Looker and Tableau * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
