Job Overview We're seeking an experienced and skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at arenaflex. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, architectures, and analytics systems that drive business growth and inform strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines, architectures, and analytics systems using cloud-based technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to identify and prioritize data-driven projects and initiatives Develop and implement data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data governance, data validation, and data security measures Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, cloud computing, and data management, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our data systems and processes Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering and data management Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, data management, or a related field, with a focus on cloud-based technologies and large-scale data systems Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala, and experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance, and knowledge of data security and compliance principles Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Experience with cloud-based platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, and knowledge of cloud-based data services such as data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js Experience with agile development methodologies, and knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes Certifications in data engineering, data management, or related fields, such as Certified Data Engineer (CDE) or Certified Information Systems Security
