Job Summary As an Information Designer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in tackling one of the world's most complex technical challenges in data engineering. You'll work closely with a team of software development engineers, product managers, data scientists, and business intelligence specialists to design and develop the data infrastructure and processing pipelines that drive our team's initiatives.
With a strong foundation in data engineering and a passion for innovation, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines, working with various data sources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Key Responsibilities * Design and implement large-scale data pipelines using AWS and bolthires internal tools * Develop and maintain business logic for data transformation and ingestion pipelines * Design and maintain datasets in bolthires data lake and internal data management frameworks using S3/Paste * Conduct data analysis and investigation to understand the impact of changes on downstream clients' use cases and build change logic to ingest data for Determining data analysis * Provide high-quality data to bolthires downs group data customers * Collaborate with data scientists and business intelligence specialists to design and develop data visualizations and reports * Work closely with software development engineers to design and implement data-driven applications A Day in the Life As an Information Designer at arenaflex, you'll be working on a wide range of projects that involve designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines, working with various data sources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and tools, such as AWS, bolthires Redshift, and EMR, and will be responsible for designing and implementing data-driven applications that drive business growth and make a meaningful impact on a global scale. Essential Capabilities * 2+ years of experience in data engineering * Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines * Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics) * Experience with SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) * Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices Preferred Capabilities * Experience with AWS services (e.g., Redshift, S3, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, IAM) * Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., object storage, report or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases) * 3+ years of experience in data engineering * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) * Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices
