Job Overview In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Art, Design, and Engineering teams to identify workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and challenges in our development process. Your expertise will be instrumental in collaborating with the team to generate candidate solutions, weighing tradeoffs, and implementing the selected answer. You will also be responsible for assisting, developing, and maintaining arenaflex's present set of engine-specific and custom tools that we use every day.
Key Responsibilities Proactively identify inefficiencies and elaborate areas in our improvement technique across disciplines Maintain, extend, and aid present development tools Build and guide custom asset pipelines Grow arenaflex's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures Collaborate with the team to generate candidate answers, weigh tradeoffs, and implement the selected solution Assist in the adoption of the solution by the team Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong passion for empowering others to do their best work.
You should have experience with the overall device lifecycle, including coming across issues, comparing potential answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness. Additionally, you should enjoy working with custom standalone tools and be capable of growing gear that can be utilized by many game development disciplines. Technical Requirements Proficiency in C#, C++, and Python Experience with custom game engines (desired) Unreal or Unity experience (desired) JavaScript and Net tech experience (desired) Ability to work effectively in a self-directed environment Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with custom game engines Unreal or Unity experience JavaScript and Net tech experience Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
