As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for accurately entering prescription details into our pharmacy management system, reviewing scanned prescription documents, and communicating with pharmacists and leads to resolve discrepancies or missing information. If you're a certified Pharmacy Technician with strong data entry skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a tech-driven, virtual environment, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Accurately entering prescription details into the pharmacy management system in compliance with state and federal regulations * Reviewing scanned prescription documents and verifying medication, prescriber, patient, and insurance data * Communicating with pharmacists and leads to resolve discrepancies or missing information * Consistently meeting productivity and quality benchmarks for prescription intake * Maintaining accurate records of all data entry activity to support internal audits and compliance reviews * Identifying and escalating potential issues, including prescription errors or insurance denials * Following HIPAA guidelines and adhering to strict data privacy and remote work protocols * Participating in virtual team meetings, trainings, and process improvement initiatives **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA preferred * 1–2 years of pharmacy technician experience required, with prior data entry experience in retail, mail-order, or long-term care settings * Proficiency in pharmacy software systems (e.g., QS/1, PioneerRx, FrameworkLTC, or similar) * Typing speed of 50+ WPM with high accuracy * Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, drug names, insurance billing, and HIPAA standards * Excellent written communication and time management skills * Reliable high-speed internet and a secure, distraction-free home office setup required * Must be physically located in the state of Texas **Work Environment** As a remote Data Entry Pharmacy Technician, you'll be working independently in a virtual team environment while following structured workflows and upholding high documentation and compliance standards.
