Job Summary: We're seeking an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our Details and Data Gathering team within arenaflex's Sports Information Management department.
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of sports information on arenaflex's various platforms, including television broadcasts, websites, and mobile applications. You'll work with automated data feeds and manual data entry to deliver precise, timely, and insightful sports information to our global audience. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure the accuracy of sports information disseminated by arenaflex's Details and Data team, including scores, schedules, standings, and other relevant data.
* Work individually and in teams to deliver precise and timely detailed breakdowns, clock-and-score, and other measurements and data to power arenaflex's various products and productions. * Create and maintain a working knowledge of arenaflex's Details and Data team's role in fueling arenaflex's digital products and television productions. * Conduct quality checks on your own work and that of others, maintaining a consistently high level of attention to detail. * Contribute to the development of new projects, tasks, and initiatives across the newsroom, and support newsroom leaders in coordinating full- and part-time staff.
* Anticipate potential issues, both short-term and long-term, and propose solutions. Communicate effectively with colleagues on these issues. * Play an active role in collaborating with colleagues to develop or refine production processes. * Participate actively in team and division meetings. * Seek and respond to feedback on personal performance. * Stay up-to-date on current office policies and procedures. Required Capabilities: * Working knowledge of sports teams, players, and rules. * Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to quickly learn production processes that generate or maintain sports information driving arenaflex's digital and television products. * Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production environments. * Ability to communicate confidently – verbally and in writing – to production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in the midst of a busy newsroom. Preferred Capabilities: * 1 year of experience in sports or analytics, preferably in media.
* Knowledge of how sports information is used in media and for research purposes. * Working knowledge of arenaflex's products and productions. * Experience with bolthires Excel and other Office tools. * Experience leading or training a team. * Ability to speak and write Spanish. * Experience using social media in a business or news context. Required
Education: * High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred
Education: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent. * Additional Details: (e.g., physical requirements, shift schedules, etc.) * Position requires working late shifts (only), weekends, and holidays.
