This Role As a Full Stack Data Governance Team Lead, you will have the unique opportunity to directly impact arenaflex's information culture. You will be part of a dynamic team that drives the development, implementation, and maintenance of our data governance capabilities.
Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our organization, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of innovation and excellence. Key Responsibilities As a Full Stack Data Governance Team Lead, your primary responsibilities will include: * Leading the creation, support, and rollout of arenaflex's data governance capabilities * Developing and maintaining work processes, standards, cycles, strategies, and rules to ensure seamless data governance * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote data governance and quality guidelines * Working with the Data Governance Leadership Board to define and track key metrics and KPIs for each capability * Researching, evaluating, and implementing new software solutions to enhance data governance * Partnering with the Data Governance Stage team(s) to automate data governance processes * Serving as the product owner for data governance capabilities * Representing the data governance team and advocating for its interests What You'll Need for Success To excel in this role, you will require: * A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information technology, data science) * At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field * Proven experience in carrying out data governance capabilities in an organization * Experience creating and tracking metrics to measure the adoption and effectiveness of data governance capabilities * Familiarity with business intelligence tools, data lakes, and data warehouses * Experience working with sensitive data (e.g., PII, SPII, PHI) and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) * Experience managing data quality and observability tools Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be highly valued: * Change management experience, including identifying downstream data impacts for regulatory requirements and reporting * Experience automating data governance processes using market-leading data governance tools * Detailed experience delivering data governance artifacts, such as data dictionaries, metadata, lineage, data development controls, and data component-level data quality controls * Experience as an information steward (acting as a data expert, examining, and investigating data access, serving as a product owner for a data item, data space, etc.) * Experience working in DevOps environments * Carrier, avionics, travel, or hospitality experience Essential Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need: * Working knowledge of SQL * Strong understanding of data and analytics concepts * Data governance certifications (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) * Ability to bridge the communication gap by translating technical governance concepts to business stakeholders * Ability to adapt to an evolving work model and pivot quickly on areas of focus * Ability to manage projects and teams from concept to delivery What You'll Get As a valued member of the arenaflex team, you can expect: * Competitive compensation and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and inclusive work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools * Comprehensive health and wellness programs * Generous time-off policies and flexible work arrangements Join the arenaflex Family At arenaflex, we believe that our employees are our greatest asset.
