About the Role We are seeking an Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Clinical Research and Evidence Generation team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, certifiable evidence through cutting-edge research and innovative methodologies in the clinical trials space.
You will work closely with our Clinical Trials colleagues to deliver meaningful insights from real-world, clinical, and other data sources to support biopharmaceutical RWE and clinical trial requests. Key Responsibilities * Mine raw datasets to deliver normalized, analysis-ready patient companions from in-house data resources or authorized platforms, analyze and interpret results, and help shape investigation methodology. * Collaborate with other members of the arenaflex Clinical Trials team to deliver significant insights from real-world, clinical, and other data sources to support biopharmaceutical RWE and clinical trial requests.
Potential projects include analysis of unmet needs, safe and effective treatment in specific disease states, treatment patterns, and healthcare financial burden, and bolthires-effectiveness modeling. * Clean, transform, and store data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader team use. * Perform data mining and statistical analysis to analyze RWE/RWD to discover new insights regarding patient populations and treatment results. * Support the development of real-world data, analysis, and platform capabilities, applying advanced research and tools to resolve logical questions from biopharmaceutical organizations.
* Work collaboratively on the design and execution of results research studies. * Ensure high-quality, thorough, and interpretable expectations from RWE review and investigations. * Develop dashboards, analysis, and reports for internal and external use. * Conduct a reasonable level of effort on new certified data suppliers vendors and drive RWD quality evaluations to inform project decisions. Essential Capabilities * Experience in designing and executing robust and reproducible statistical analyses regarding the study of disease transmission and observational research with healthcare data.
* Knowledge of standard statistical testing methods including generalized linear models, clustering and classification, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis. * Experience handling large datasets from various data sources. * Experience managing protected patient health data. * Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI insight tools. Favored Capabilities * PhD, Graduate degree in statistics/biostatistics, software engineering, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field.
* Skill in EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and insurance claims datasets. * Ability in clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode). * Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) as well as regulatory compliance rules for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR). * Experience working on alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those empowered by technology platforms and solutions.
* Experience with exploratory design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics. * Understanding of statistics and AI techniques, ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills.
