Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Product Frameworks and Examination group, which is instrumental in driving business growth and innovation across our CPGP (Consumer Products, Games, and Publishing) division.
As a
Senior Data Scientist, you'll lead, analyze, and interpret broad datasets to create high-level business insights through advanced predictive models across both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce channels. You'll be a mentor to our Data Science team, providing expert guidance and leading research projects, fostering cross-functional collaboration to meet internal client information needs. Key Responsibilities * Provide strategic vision and direction for the Data Science group, focused on Omni Channel analysis across both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce channels.
* Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with Examiners, Specialized Associates, and Business Leaders to develop a roadmap based on business needs. * Interpret business requirements into precise product specifications to drive development. * Lead design meetings, adjusting strategies to business drivers, challenges, and long-term objectives. * Design and implement effective data pipelines to address business issues, utilizing specialized tools and retail frameworks. * Set and execute Data Science group best practices and lead code audits for colleagues.
* Create compelling visuals, diagrams, and graphs that resonate with data, tailored to various audiences. * Utilize advanced analytical techniques (regression, AI, clustering) to drive significant insights. Requirements * 2 years' experience creating Examination, Measurable, or AI models to extract insights and address business challenges, preferably in a retail setting. * Proficiency in web analysis and customer segmentation using data to drive informed decisions and improve online experiences. * Lead small teams in rapid and accurate data analysis, feature definition, and creative problem-solving for business challenges.
* Ability to work on complex issues, creating data-driven stories for direction. * Cloud platform/tech expertise. * Familiarity with AI or machine learning methods. * Ability to investigate and identify underlying driver analysis. * Successful in fast-paced, changing environments. * Preferred knowledge of various project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, scrum). * Proficient relational skills for effective team and individual communication. * Proficiency in various data technology areas: + Data pipelines and ETL tools (e.g., SQL, SSIS, Knime, Alteryx, Scene Prep) + Database platforms including Snowflake and SQL Server + Preprocessing languages (e.g., Snowscript, JavaScript, VBA, Python) + Factual and Data Science languages (e.g., R, SAS, Python for Data Science) + Utilization of AI strategies.
+ Experience with advanced analytical systems (e.g., regression analysis, clustering, statistical inference, hypothesis testing, p-values, causal inference, Random Forest, Boosting, Support Vector Machines, Time Series).
