- *Job Summary**
As a Financial Business System Analyst - Healthcare (Remote), you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our PeopleSoft business system, which is segregated by line of business: Materials Management, Grant & Fund Accounting, and Finance. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into design documents for coding, investigating errors and/or problems, writing queries and/or reports, performing testing, and aiding in the development of training materials. - *Key Responsibilities**
- Translate business requirements into design documents for coding
- Investigate errors and/or problems and assist with a solution/fix
- Write queries and/or reports
- Perform testing
- Aid in the development of training materials
- Write detailed descriptions (requirements) of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify PeopleSoft applications
- Evaluate and analyze PeopleSoft application fixes
- Develop and implement test plans in collaboration with the Systems Analysts (including processes, panels, reports)
- Evaluate new PeopleSoft modules and third-party software
- Work closely with other PeopleSoft business analysts (Materials Management, Finance, and Grant & Fund Accounting)
- Provide preliminary user acceptance of LOB modules and coordinate final user acceptance of Line of Business modules
- *Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or another related field. Master's degree preferred
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) required
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft 8.4. Knowledge of software lifecycle, with skill emphasis in requirements definition, testing, and implementation
- Superior and demonstrable skills in analysis and troubleshooting
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills to write business communications and group presentations
