Job Overview arenaflex is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Media Services Engineer to join its team. As a key member of the Associated Media group, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless Airplay experience across the Mac ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design, development, and commercialization of cutting-edge Airplay features Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver start-to-finish Airplay features that enhance the customer experience Develop and maintain software applications using C/C++/Python programming languages Participate in unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software applications Work closely with the team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, applying this knowledge to improve processes and procedures Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Strong programming skills in C/C++/Python, with experience in developing client-facing applications and structures Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Experience with mobile devices, media players, smart TVs, or set-top boxes is a plus Knowledge of modern networking protocols and concepts is an asset Preferred Qualifications Experience with API design and maintenance Background in building services that involve modern networking protocols and concepts Experience with application development for Linux-based products Knowledge of Node.js-based applications and service debugging Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and agile development methodologies
