As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the right capacity is available for our customers through forecasting, planning, guidance, and execution, especially for large unpredictable scaling events. **About arenaflex and the Industry** arenaflex is a leading provider of cloud computing services, and our Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) is a web service that provides secure, resizable compute capacity in the cloud. Our EC2 CCX organization is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences, and we're seeking a Program Manager who shares our passion for innovation and customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities** As a Program Manager in our EC2 CCX organization, you'll be responsible for: * Ownership of the entire capacity planning process, from understanding a customer's future compute requirements to determining high-confidence fulfillment plans and levying commitments directly to customers on behalf of arenaflex * Driving process improvements and collaborating with engineering organizations to build new technologies that automate demand planning for our customers * Engaging directly with external arenaflex customers and senior leaders across arenaflex and Amazon Retail * Defining program requirements, effectively communicating strategic initiatives to business leaders, and working collaboratively across business, engineering, operations, and product teams to deliver solutions to customers * Analyzing large data sets to tell a story and drive solutions to business problems based on data-driven conclusions * Proactively identifying risk and employing mitigations to get plans back on-track or working with customers to reset expectations **About You** We're looking for a talented and customer-focused Program Manager who: * Brings a deep understanding of business fundamentals with experience and comfort communicating plans and outcomes directly to customers * Is willing to learn quickly and understand EC2 technical details to improve the capacity planning experience * Communicates clearly and succinctly verbally and in writing, providing the right amount of information and insights to drive customer outcomes and business objectives * Is comfortable juggling competing priorities and navigating ambiguity autonomously * Thrives in an agile and fast-paced environment on projects and initiatives with senior leadership visibility * Is data-driven, passionate about finding root causes and trends independently, and uses data to support ideas, drive actionable outcomes, and identify opportunities for partnerships across arenaflex **Inclusive Team Culture** At arenaflex, we're committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded engineer and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future. **Basic Qualifications** * 5+ years of program or project management experience * Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements * Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership **Preferred Qualifications** * 2+ years of driving process improvements experience * Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field **Compensation and Benefits** Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
