As a Content Tagger and Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for tagging and categorizing content, ensuring that our users can easily find and enjoy their favorite shows and movies. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that our content is delivered seamlessly and efficiently, and that our users receive the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities Tag and categorize content to ensure accurate and comprehensive metadata Work closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless content delivery Ensure that content is properly formatted and optimized for delivery Collaborate with other teams to ensure that content is properly promoted and marketed Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in content tagging and metadata enhancement
Our Engineering Team Constructing Open Connect required the effort of a truly global team representing a diverse set of competencies, backgrounds, cultures, and personalities.
We are looking to add to the engineering group responsible for building the Open Connect control plane, which includes: Cloud microservices that customers directly interact with after they press ‘play’ Systems for making live streaming work successfully and with resilience Services that are critical to making cloud video games work Load-balancing algorithms for optimizing hardware utilization
Our Approach to Engineering We spend our time seeking to answer questions like these: How will we layout our systems to react to failure, internet traffic shifts, and different adjustments in real-time?
How do we steer traffic for live shipping over the backbone? How will we quality assure the most popular content so that we can improve the consumer experience? What is the gold standard way to percent petabytes of content into our machines to optimize their throughput? How must we design our streaming hardware given customer behavior? How do we choose the best server for every cloud game session? Requirements and Qualifications We are searching for a Software Engineer who identifies with the following: You like to construct software and gear that assist your teammates do their jobs better You have a penchant to put money into our technology so that we will live agile You are comfortable with ambiguity You are capable of iterating quickly on thoughts and containing feedback You believe that fostering an inclusive environment allows all individuals to do their best work Essential Qualifications 3+ years software improvement or talent with a contemporary programming language Experience in a microservice environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms Knowledge of content tagging and metadata enhancement principles Familiarity with load-balancing algorithms and system optimization techniques Strong communication and collaboration skills
