- *Key Responsibilities:**
As a Senior Engineer – Big Data & Cloud Application Development at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient big data applications using Hadoop, Hive, and other related technologies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
- Developing and maintaining high-quality code, including refactoring and optimizing existing code
- Participating in code reviews and testing to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability
- Applying data science and machine learning techniques to drive business insights and decision-making
- Working with data warehousing and ETL tools to design and implement data pipelines
- Developing and maintaining advanced data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing
- Collaborating with data engineers to design and implement data architectures
- Participating in the development of technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
- *Essential Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on big data and cloud application development
- Strong experience with Hadoop, Hive, and other related technologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools, including data pipelines and data architectures
- Strong understanding of data science and machine learning techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, including GCP and AWS
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
- Strong experience with NoSQL databases, including HBase, Couchbase, and MongoDB
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
- Strong project management and leadership skills

- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and Scala
- Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Hive, and Spark
